Welcome to my portfolio. I am a sophomore at UC Berkeley studying computer science, and I am an upcoming enthusiastic violinist. I have been learning violin for the past 9 years under the guidance and tutelage of Guru Sri Surya Sundararajan. In the past few years I have also been furthering my learnings with the guidance of Vidwan Guru Sri Vittal Ramamurthy. Recently I have been working with Guru Smt. Harini Darbha in learning manodharma. I have studied the piano and western style violin prior to learning the Carnatic style. My gurus have nurtured my passion for my various art forms and creativity. They have always encouraged continuous learning, practice and improvisation. I have accompanied a few Carnatic music recitals and performances in greater Boston area. I have also participated in several workshops conducted by Sri. Vittal Ramamurthy in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and India. I also love to assist my Guru in teaching junior students and value this part of my learning experience and contribution to community. I thrive on creative challenges and enjoy building strong relationships along the way.
